Our solutions

Fly-Box H2

The Fly-Box trays, powered by green hydrogen, can transport cargo containers weighing tens of tons each at speeds of up to 20 knots.

This solution is ideal for linking main port centers with smaller secondary ports located along coastal regions or on rivers and streams.

Why to use hydrofoils and hydrogen?

The use of batteries and fuel cells connected to hydrogen can significantly reduce the carbon footprint of freight transportation. This is particularly important considering that trucks and vans emit over 100 times more CO2 than ships transporting the same amount of goods over the same distance, according to the MIT Climate Portal.

Hydrofoils, a well-established technology used in America’s Cup competitions and major ocean crossings, allow ships to ‘fly’ over the water. Foils limit drag, resulting in more efficient transportation of goods while preserving the marine ecosystem.

An innovative solution

  • Fly-Box Hydrogen utilizes six patented technologies,
  • Foils can be swivelled and retracted for easy docking,
  • Fully rotating electric motors can efficiently control the carriers.

Fly-Box Hydrogen is a breakthrough innovation designed to ensure the safety of cargo transportation at all stages, including loading, transport and unloading.

As part of the second phase of development, Fly-Box will introduce the idea of cluster circulation, where containers form tightly linked convoys controlled by digital mooring lines. In the third phase, we plan to create a fully autonomous system using various sensors, such as LiDAR.

Fly-Box Compact

Fly-Box Compact is an 8-meter platform.

It features a battery-powered electric motor and foils, and has a load capacity of 700 kg.

This platform is designed to transport goods between towns around a lake or within the same town, as well as across rivers, streams, or the sea.

Why use hydrofoils and an electric motor?

  • Electric power can significantly reduce the carbon footprint of freight transportation. An eco-friendly solution is essential because trucks and vans emit over 100 times more CO2 than ships transporting the same amount of goods over the same distance, according to the MIT Climate Portal.
